Hey everyone! My name is Dana Blomquist, and I am the dude behind Dead Inside Mycology and here's a little story on my calling to this beautiful natural medicine!

Throughout my life, I have struggled with my mental health just as many people do. During my 17 years of my service which I spent on active duty I had experienced some of my most significant battles. 

On New Years Eve of 2022 while stationed overseas, I decided to throw in the towel and call it quits with a full bottle of Lorazepam and a bottle of whiskey. If it wasn't for my best friend acting so quickly, I would not be here (Love you Cruz). It took me five days in a coma to become stable and thankfully return! 

Once I returned to the U.S. I was faced with more significant issues, continued to struggle with my mental health, had limited coping options and chose alcohol.

I became physically addicted to this poison, which I experienced DTS for about four months or so. I had to do something different! I started researching about advances they have made with the capabilities of psilocybin containing mushrooms. I was no stranger to these beautiful little things and decided to learn how to grow my own medicine.

I started to go deep within myself on a weekly basis on some heavier dosages. Light and beauty were seen again! I saw my mood increase, I was feeling alive again! I learned so much about myself during these journeys. I would wear an eye mask and noise canceling headphones and spent the duration of hours within my mind and exploring my consciousness and everything hidden. 

Overtime I was able to get off of all of my SSRI's and I was able to win my battle against my alcoholism. I have this amazing natural medicine to thank for this! 

I started to share this medicine within my veteran community and saw the positive results! These natural things were doing what Big Pharma failed to help us with. This is where I found my motivation for Dead Inside Mycology! I was no longer feeling dead inside and I wanted to help others grow towards mental clarity! August of 2023, I decided to call it official and opened up shop!

I strive to stay up to date with the providing education on mycology, news of medical advancements within natural medicines, and the changes within state laws. I like to keep a fresh menu updated at all times to provide you with all of the genetics you want. I also love being able to provide HPLC Potency tested of some of my genetics available! Lastly, I love getting the chance to share some of my awesome tie dye gear! All of my products are created by my hands in my lovely state of Colorado!
